Any archaeological excavation implies the destruction of the site where it operates, thus eliminating the stratigraphical record and forbidding the possibility of a review of the archaeological context. This course offers the possibility of learning how to reduce that damage, as well as it gives new tools for archaeological research and dissemination.
The scope of the course is that of making participants able to 3D virtualizes any archaeological site of their interest. The main objective of the course is teaching the participants to solve their own problems. Therefore, many practical sessions will be displayed and, gradually, some concrete problems will be added to these sessions, so that the participants learn how to deal with them in real life.
